mRNA는 DNA와 달리 핵 내로 들어갈 필요없이 세포질에서 바로 일시적으로 원하는 단백질이 발현될 수 있다는 장점이 있으므로 mRNA 백신을 이용하려는 시도가 활발하게 진행되고 있으나, mRNA는 DNA에 비해 구조적으로 안정도가 낮아 산업적으로 이용하기에 한계가 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 발명은 mRNA의 세포내 안정성과 생합성을 현저히 향상시키는 기술에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 mRNA 안정화 방법, 및 mRNA 안정화 조성물을 이용하면 mRNA 백신 등에서 타겟 핵산 안정화 및 타겟 단백질의 발현 증진 효과가 우수하므로, 보건/의료 분야에서 크게 이용될 것으로 기대된다.
