Variable Focus Lens-Based Beam Steering and Divergence Control for WDM Free-Space Optical Communication
We investigate through experiments the wavelength dependence of optical beam steering and divergence control technique realized by variable focus lenses (VFLs). We also transmit 4x 10-Gb/s signals over a 104-m free-space link using the VFL-based system.
