Pandemic influenza especially damaged young host, therefore safe vaccination methods without severe infection have been studied. Accordingly, adjuvants were examined to induce desired immune responses to minimal dosage of antigen. In this thesis, novel adjuvants that can be used for immunization through skin by microneedle is screened, and the effect on the antibody, cytokine production, and protection against homologous virus is confirmed in a mouse model.
