실시 예는 제1 반도체층, 제2 반도체층, 및 상기 제1 반도체층과 상기 제2 반도체층 사이에 배치되는 활성층을 포함하며, 상기 활성층은 InxAlyGa1-x-yN(0≤x≤1, 0≤y≤1, 0≤x+y≤1)의 조성식을 가지며, 적어도 1회 이상 교대로 적층되는 우물층 및 장벽층을 포함하며, 상기 활성층은 제1 두께를 갖고, 상기 우물층은 제2 두께를 가지며, 상기 장벽층은 상기 제2 두께보다 얇거나 동일한 제3 두께를 갖는다.
