230-Gbps DMT Transmission Using Pre-Chirp Mach-Zehnder Modulator for C-band Short-Reach Optical Interconnects

We demonstrate the transmission of 230-Gb/s DMT signal over 1.9 km of SSMF in the 1.5-um IM/DD system by using a pre-chirp Mach-Zehnder modulator having a 3-dB bandwidth of only 22 GHz.
