Currently, medical ultrasound imaging devices that are popular are B-mode ultrasound imaging devices. This allows fast imaging, but the quality of the image is deteriorated by virtual images and speckle. Ultrasound imaging equipment that can compete with this is ultrasound tomography equipment. This enables quantitative imaging and provides good quality images. However, it takes a long time to restore the image, and the object has to be immersed in water. In this study, we propose an ultrasound tomography system which can be used universally and can speed up image restoration. It is versatile as a tomography system that can scan objects using transducers of B-mode ultrasound imaging devices. In addition, by using compression sensing, the number of data required for imaging is dramatically reduced, shortening the time required to restore the image.
