Tumor suppressor activity restoration using tumor suppressor p53-loaded exosomes = 종양 억제 단백질 p53 탑재 엑소좀을 이용한 종양 억제 기능 회복에 관한 연구

Tumor suppressor protein regulate cell division and apoptosis to prevent tumor progression. To activate tumor suppressor protein, treatment strategy based on protein drug, small molecules, and gene therapy have emerged. However, it did not make good performance because of some disadvantages. In this research, tumor suppressor protein is loaded inside exosomes that have advantages as a drug delivery vehicle over other vehicle. Tumor suppressor-loaded exosomes were generated and efficacy of the exosomes was validated through various assay. I also checked this tumor suppressor-loaded exosomes could activate function of wild-type tumor suppressor protein in cancer cell line with mutation of the tumor suppressor protein. Some problems were observed during research, so I endeavored to find methods to solve that problems and another applications that tumor suppressor protein-loaded exosomes can be used.
