dc.description.abstract | Intracellular delivery of molecules which means introducing foreign molecules such as genes and proteins into cells has been regarded as very significant technique in wide range of biological studies. Although various strategies has been studied in the previous studies, the efficient intracellular delivery into microalgae has been not achieved yet due to the difficulties of passing through thick algal cell wall barrier and the lack of understanding different physicochemical characteristics of cell membrane and wall compared mammalian cell lines. In this thesis, we proposed intracellular delivery platforms based on electroporation and cell penetrating peptide into microalgae. | - |
