In this thesis, I theoretically and experimentally demonstrate that the broadband, nondispersive optical activity can be realized via utilizing sophisticatedly designed chiral metamaterials. Two types of chiral metamaterials are presented; 3D meshed helical metamaterials and magnetically-coupled, bilayer chiral metamaterials.
