본 발명은 신규한 베타-아가레이즈 유전자 및 이를 이용한 베타-아가레이즈의 생산방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 베타-아가레이즈 유전자는 베타-아가레이즈를 생산하지 못하는 이종균주의 도입시 베타-아가레이즈를 고농도로 배양액 중에 직접 축적시킬 수 있으며, 베타-아가레이즈를 보다 경제적으로 대량생산할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
