dc.description.abstractWe propose a novel all-optical wavelength conversion at 10 Gbit/s based on the absorption property and the injection-locking phenomenon in a low-cost Fabry-Perot laser diode (FPLD) incorporating with a continuous wave (CW) holding beam. Both the logically inverting and non-inverting wavelength conversions of 10 Gbit/s NRZ signal are demonstrated.en
