A miniaturized side-coupled 450 Schiffman phase shifter on teflon substrate

Abstract

A novel side-coupled 45degrees Schiffman phase shifter for 2.2-GHz applications is presented with measurement results. The proposed phase shifter on a Teflon substrate is fabricated in a smaller area and more cost-effective way, as compared to the conventional Schiffman phase shifter. In addition, the phase shifter seems very promising and useful, particularly for future 2.2-GHz wireless applications and beyond. (C) 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
