$Ni/MgO@SiO_2$ catalyst for dry reforming of methane with enhanced durability = 메탄의 건식 개질반응을 위한 고내구성 $Ni/MgO@SiO_2$ 촉매 연구

The use of fossil fuels is deepening global warming problem caused by greenhouse gases. The importance of the study about conversion of carbon dioxide is increasing, and the dry reforming reaction of methane, which produces syngas using carbon dioxide and methane, has attracted much attention. Non-precious metal catalysts for the dry reforming reaction is inexpensive and has high reactivity, but excessive carbon deposition occurs on the surface of catalysts, resulting in deactivation of the catalyst and low long-term stability. In this thesis, we will study $Ni/MgO@SiO_2$ catalyst with high durability by suppressing carbon deposition of catalyst through silica coating layer.
