The damping materials were developed by using h-BN and polyurethane composites. It was tested that the damping performance by FRF measurement using an aluminum beam that damping materials coated on the surface. In addition, electro-active composite actuators based on graphene reinforced Nafion composite electrolytes were developed and their electro-chemo-mechanical properties and actuation performances were investigated. On the other hand, the defect engineering method is applied to the quantum dot synthesis. Furthermore, the edge-hydroxylated functionalization was employed to enhance the intracellular uptake of the BNQDs in cells for bioimaging.
