복수의 간이 무선 접속 포인트를 관리하는 통합 기지국Integrated Base Station Managing a pluarity of Simplified Radio Access points
2 이상의 간이 무선 접속 포인트와 통신 가능하게 결합된 통합 기지국이 개시된다. 통합 기지국은 백본/백홀 네트워크(backbone/backhaul network)로부터 신호를 수신하고, 수신한 신호를 간이 무선 접속 포인트에 전송하되, 2 이상의 간이 무선 접속 포인트 중 적어도 하나에 신호를 라우팅(routing)하도록 구성되고, 2 이상의 간이 무선 접속 포인트와는 유선 통신에 의해 통신한다. 통합 기지국에 의해 자원의 효율적인 사용이 가능하게 되고, 동종 및 이종 네트워크간의 핸드오버가 간단하게 이루어질 수 있게 된다.
