VNTR 프로브로서, VNTR을 수행하고자 하는 주형에 혼성화되는 염기서열을 갖는 라이게이션 프로브; 상기 라이게이션 프로브에 컨쥬게이션된 링커 올리고뉴클레오티드; 및 상기 링커 올리고뉴클레오티드의 말단에 결합된 금 나노입자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 VNTR 프로브가 제공되며, 이로써 VNTR 프로브를 이용한 PCR-프리 VNTR 타이핑이 가능하다.
