수직 채널 영역을 갖는 이미지 소자 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다. 이 소자는 기판 상의 제1 도전성 라인을 포함한다. 상기 제1 도전성 라인 상에 광감지 패턴이 제공된다. 상기 광감지 패턴에 인접하며 상기 제1 도전성 라인과 이격된 제2 도전성 라인이 제공된다. 상기 제2 도전성 라인 및 상기 광감지 패턴 사이에 개재되며 상기 제2 도전성 라인 및 상기 광감지 패턴과 접촉하는 연결 패턴이 제공된다.
