We develop an inertial separation technique using co-flow system, which permits tuning of separation parameters such as size threshold in real-time without redesign the device. Focusing positions in 3-inlet co-flow systems show binary size dependence, i.e., focusing positions of different size particles locate at completely different position, and the separation size threshold is tunable. Using this property we demonstrated the high purity and efficiency of particle separation.
