Extending EPCIS and integrating a distributed event-based resource-oriented middleware into GS1 EPCglobal architecture for internet of things사물인터넷을 위한 GS1 EPCglobal 구조로의 EPCIS 확장 및 분산 이벤트 기반 자원 지향 미들웨어 통합
The idea of connecting devices, objects and things (Internet of Things) emerged from global network of Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID) taged objects. Because of the widely acceptance of GS1 in the business, different IoT frameworks have been proposed based on EPCglobal architecture. This thesis first presents a design and implementation of how a distributed Event-Based middleware is integrated into EPCglobal architecture to provide a persistent endpoint through which device can interact in an interoperable, scalable and secure way. Then, it acquaints an extension of EPCIS Query Interface to offer fast and efficient response for complex queries. To demonstrate the extension, we have analyzed, proposed, and implemented a well-organized and scalable traceability architecture to collect, transform, store, and share track/trace data.
