Large-scale networking of metal/semiconductor nanoheterostructure금속/반도체 이종구조 나노재료의 대면적 네트워킹

Metal/Semiconductor heterostructures have been researched for a long time due to their unique property arising from the difference of energy level. Nevertheless, the interface between metal and semiconductor formed in nanoscale is not understood since optimized metal/semiconductor nanoheterostructure for electric measurements is difficult to be synthesized. In this paper, we successfully fabricated continuous networking of CdSe nanorods anchored via nanosized gold tips. This network had a nano-scale thickness corresponding to a diameter of CdSe nanorod and could be laterally expanded to micro-scale. The assembled structure can be controlled with slow network kinetic by combination of CSA(Conductive Self Assembly) and DLA(Diffusion Limited Aggregation). To the best of our knowledge, 2-dimensional metal/semiconductor nanoheterostructured assembly is firstly induced in this paper. We expect this network will be vigorously applied in many field such as optoelectronic or photovoltaic applications. During networking, end-to-end fusion of gold tips competed with side-by-side vanderwaals interaction. This interaction competition will be studied more deeply later.
