Radar Absorbing Structures with Frequency Selective Fabric Composites

In this paper, a novel application of textile composites was shown in the electromagnetic field. A radar absorbing structure including a FSFC was fabricated consisting of MWNTadded plain-weave glass/epoxy composites, and its absorption performance was measured and simulated. It was revealed that the introduction of a FSFC offered the possibility to improve the absorption performance of flat multi-layered absorbers.
