The construction of supramolecular dendrimers consisting of highly oriented, cylindrical domains with long-range order (see Figure) is reported for the first time. The self-assembled cylinder domains align perpendicular to magnetic fields within the mesophase, with high degrees of alignment at tow magnetic field strengths.-
